Young Again TruCarnivore™ Special Care: Sensitive Stomach is a single source protein diet crafted with Beef fat for smooth digestion. Free of chicken protein and chicken fat, we use a single source hydrolyzed pork which is easy to digest. This diet is formulated specifically for cats with Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) and allergies. As part of our ZERO adult food, this formula is also a great choice for cats with diabetes and kidney disease (CKD). Cats without health concerns can also eat this formula. As obligate carnivores, cats have no nutritional need for starch, carbohydrates, or plant proteins, so your sensitive stomach feline can thrive on this simplified meat-based diet.

Young Again TruCarnivore™ Special Care: Sensitive Stomach formula has been specifically designed to support cats with IBD. This diet eliminates starch/carbs and guar gum and is lower in fat than the traditional carnivore diet. This diet utilizes beef fat as its primary source of fat, which supplies medium chain fats that support a healthy gut. This Limited Ingredient formula is pork based and will help support your pre-diabetic or diabetic cat by giving her a carnivore-based alternative to traditional cat foods.

Your cat is considered mature when she is no longer growing bone. For most cats that will be at 18 months of age. However, for breeds like the Maine Coon, it may be as long as 3 years. Please consult your veterinarian or breeder if you are unsure if your cat has reached adulthood.

At YA, we highly recommend Free-Choice feeding. Please follow the instructions carefully. For additional feeding suggestions and assistance, please read Transitioning your cat.

If you must restrict feed your cat, please use these guidelines:

Average consumption for 24 hours:
8 lb. cat –  Level ¼ cup
10 lb. cat – Rounded ¼ cup
12 lb. cat – Level 1/3 cup
15 lb. cat – Rounded 1/3 cup
20-25 lb. cat – Level ½ cup

For Maine Coons and other giant breeds add ¼ cup to each of above measures for 12 pounds and up.

PLEASE NOTE: Because Young Again is a nutrient-dense food, your cat will eat MUCH LESS than other cat foods. It does not mean your cat does not like our food.
